Dave Hunt’s Dodgems to come to Hollycombe

Dave Hunt's Dodgems.

Dave Hunt from Worthing will be bringing his set of Dodgem cars to Hollycombe for the Fairground Weekend on 21st-22nd July. The Dodgems will stay at Hollycombe as an extra attraction until August Bank Holiday Monday.

As this is an 'extra', a charge of £2.00 per car will apply, payable on the ride.

Don't miss this unique opportunity to enoy this ever-popular ride in Hollycombe's unique setting.

Voltini Sideshows for Fairground Weekend

The world's oldest mechanical fairground ride is Hollycombe's c.1870s 'Dobby Set', Mr Field's Steam Circus.

Making a first time appearance at Hollycombe during this year’s Fairground Weekend, on 21st & 22nd July, will be the truly authentic Victorian sideshow “Voltini Sideshows”
Be amazed as 'Madame Electra', the voluptuous lady of lightning, defies death in the electric chair.  See the impossible possible as Electra withstands 27,000 volts searing through her body.  Be enthralled as Professor Voltini demonstrates how to swallow a sword (a 100% genuine phenomenon).  A show for the whole family.  (A small additional charge applies to see the show).

The Mechanical Organ Gathering complements the event with a range of visiting organs which will be playing throughout the day. These will be dating from late-1800s organettes, to hand-turned street organs, and various sizes of fairground, street and dance organs.
