Fairground at Night returns to Hollycombe
Autumn evenings are set to dazzle at Hollycombe Steam in the Country as the popular museum opens its historic steam-powered Edwardian Fairground at night.
Visitors are invited to take a nostalgic step-back in time to experience the captivating sights, sounds and smell of the magical nature of Hollycombe’s vintage fairground rides and popular sideshows. Dating back to the 1870’s, the fairground has some of the oldest and most thrilling fairground rides of their day and is the largest collection of traditional fairground rides in Britain.
Beginning on Saturday 14th September and running for six consecutive Saturday’s, the Fairground at Night will open from 6:00PM-10:00PM with rides commencing from 7:00PM. The final event, held on Saturday 19th October, will combine with the running of the Quarry Railway and Halloween celebrations and mark the end of the Hollycombe Steam 2019 season.
The Fairground at Night will operate on September 14th, 21st, 28th & October 5th, 12th and 19th. Gates open at 6:00PM and rides commence from 7:00PM onwards. Last admission is 9:00PM. Admission costs £17.00 for adults, £15.00 for seniors and £14.00 for children aged 3-15 years. Family tickets are also available and full-price tickets are valid for one year from the date of purchase. Please note, attractions are subject to availability and height restrictions do apply.
