Treat dad to something special this Father’s Day with a visit to Hollycombe, where a trip down Memory Lane awaits! A spin on the world’s first white-knuckle ride, the Razzle Dazzle, may raise the pulses, but a gentle ride on the Quarry Railway with its spectacular views over the South Downs and Sussex Weald will help to calm any nerves. Hollycombe’s famous Big Wheel also offers wide reaching views and a birds-eye perspective over the vintage Victorian and Edwardian Fairground. Bring a picnic and relax in Hollycombe’s listed woodland gardens, where the late-flowering rhododendrons are in full bloom, or treat yourself to refreshments in the café. We’re just a month away from our special Fairground Weekend and Vintage Organ Gathering – one of the highlights of the year at Hollycombe – on 14 & 15 July. And did you know that once you’ve paid to enter Hollycombe, return visits are free for a year, including to all our events – so why not visit Hollycombe this Sunday for a treat that repeats?!
